All textiles are executed with extreme care and high standards of craftsmanship. Redefining our connection to textiles, opening our minds to regard them as the precious commodity they are.
Dani learnt how to weave in 2007 and started a small business selling handwoven scarves in 2015. Her handweaving has exhibited across Canada and the USA where she has received honourable awards and scholarships for work.
Since 2012 Miss Ortman has volunteered as the GCW’s Editor, and in 2018 she was elected as the Guild’s President. She also teaches handweaving, technical skills and pattern design.
